Transfer Empowerment Day

Berkeley Underground Scholars would like to invite you to our 2nd Annual Transfer Empowerment Day on August 12, 2017 from 9 am-5 pm at Anna Head Alumnae Hall (2537 Haste Street, Berkeley, CA).

During the day, we will have workshops on the following topics: admissions, housing, personal statement, research & scholarships, building a resume/CV, and additional workshops that will help you prepare to transfer. We will also be hosting a panel with current Underground Scholar students who will be sharing their experiences through community college and now at UC Berkeley.

Also, we will be doing a campus tour and a raffle for some Cal gear. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

Additionally, we will be providing some monetary support that can be used towards transportation (for those coming from outside the Bay Area) costs for the first 50 students who RSVP.

Please RSVP by JULY 10 via the google doc (link below), so we can solidify the number of students who will be attending. Limited housing will be provided to those who are traveling long distance.
